Zhuhai airport unveils direct coach link to Hong Kong

ag25 A new bus service between Zhuhai’s airport and Hong Kong began trial operations on Thursday, mainland Chinese media have reported. The service aims to transport travellers between Zhuhai’s Jinwan airport, the Hong Kong International Airport, as well as the city centre of the special administrative region. There will be 14 round trips each day across four routes, with the trip to the two airports taking about 1.5 hours. The journey to or from Hong Kong’s city centre is about two hours long. During the initial trial period, business-seat tickets cost RMB260 (MOP291.27/US$36.34) each. Ticket purchase is available at the counter for cross-border rides on the first floor of Zhuhai’s airport. https://www.macaubusiness.com/zhuhai-airport-unveils-direct-coach-link-to-hong-kong/

Macau eyes Middle East flight links, 50 pacts inked

ag25 Macau has already signed service agreements with 50 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Israel, Turkey and Qatar, laying the legal groundwork for future aviation links with these five Middle Eastern nations. The authority also revealed that the city’s airport operator was carrying out ‘incentive programmes’ to woo foreign carriers to expand the city’s route network. Under an express service in Macau that is tailored to flights bound for Southeast and Northeast Asia, air passengers are allowed to transit via other major hubs such as Beijing, Kuala Lum...
