Zhuhai airport unveils direct coach link to Hong Kong

A new bus service between Zhuhai’s airport and Hong Kong began trial operations on Thursday, mainland Chinese media have reported.

The service aims to transport travellers between Zhuhai’s Jinwan airport, the Hong Kong International Airport, as well as the city centre of the special administrative region.

There will be 14 round trips each day across four routes, with the trip to the two airports taking about 1.5 hours.

The journey to or from Hong Kong’s city centre is about two hours long.

During the initial trial period, business-seat tickets cost RMB260 (MOP291.27/US$36.34) each.

Ticket purchase is available at the counter for cross-border rides on the first floor of Zhuhai’s airport.
