 jun25 Nova lei alimenta esperanças sobre expansão de rotas aéreas   0     0     0 20 Jun, 2025 Foi aprovada ontem, na especialidade, a proposta da lei da actividade de aviação civil. O Secretário para os Transportes e Obras Públicas destacou que o Governo dará preferência a estratégias que permitam criar condições para o aumento gradual do número de licenças de transporte aéreo de passageiros.  jul25 Airfare discounts attract over 90k foreign visitors: Gov’t By   Tony Lai Discounted flight tickets offered by the Macau government in collaboration with airlines brought more than 90,000 international tourists to the city in 2024, a result the administration described as “satisfactory”. The figure was disclosed by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) in a recent written response to legislator Ngan Iek Hang, who had inquired about the impact of several government’s initiatives on international arrivals and the local economy. The government also reiterated in the reply that its free ferry and direct bus ticket scheme from Hong Kong to Macau successfully attracted over 310,000 overseas visitors last year.
